Premier composites conference and trade show will feature more than 300 sessions with experts in more than 250 topics
September 29, 2015 (Dallas, Texas) – A full schedule of the conference program for the second annual Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) – taking place in Dallas Oct. 26-29, 2015 – is now available online. The premier composites conference and trade show in North America, produced by The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and The Society for Advancement for Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), will include more than 300 conference sessions and feature experts in more than 250 topics. Attendees can search the entire program by track, event type, or speaker name.
The General Session will kick off with a keynote address delivered by Dr. J. Gary Smyth, Executive Director of Global Research and Development at GM. He will provide insights into the future of composites in the automotive market and include what GM has learned from its long history with composites manufacturing with the Corvette.
The Featured Sessions track covers trending hot topics in the industry, including sustainability, market growth, workforce training and consumer markets. Insights on offshore market applications by Professor Andreas Echtermeyer of the Norwegian University of Science & Technology and a look at the state of biobased materials by Louis Pilato of Pilato Consulting are a part of this track.

Throughout CAMX, Outstanding Paper Awards will be presented to ten researchers from the composites industry, academia and the government who put together well-written, interesting and groundbreaking technical papers. This year’s winners are:
