American Composites Manufacturers Association and the European Pultrusion Technology Association produce a conference focused on pultrusion technology in the composites manufacturing industry.

February 23, 2017 (Arlington, VA) – Nearly 100 composites manufacturing industry professionals will assemble in Atlanta, GA, on April 4 – 5, for the North American Pultrusion Conference, produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA).
“While pultrusion is providing a wide variety of solutions in different markets, there are more markets to penetrate. In addition, the technology continues to evolve by using high performance resins and reinforcements and even more complex profiles.” said ACMA President, Tom Dobbins. “This conference is designed to provide the latest knowledge, education and technical resources to companies and professionals that are current pultruders as well as OEMs that want to learn more about how pultruded products can make their products better.”
Dr. Elmar Witten, Secretary of EPTA stated, “Pultrusion remains relevant and trusted by composites manufacturing leaders. While some leading companies use pultrusion to stay competitive and deliver exceptional, innovative products and services to end-users, there are many OEMs, suppliers, manufacturers and engineers that are not using pultrusion. The North American Pultrusion Conference meets an important need to educate and inform our industry about pultrusion.”
In addition to the education sessions, Jeff Martin—a proponent for pultrusion technology for 50 years and the 2009 recipient of the Brandt Goldsworthy Pultruder of the Year Award—will keynote and share his view on the industry, his experiences overcoming industry challenges at his company, Martin Pultrusion Group, Inc., and his predictions for the future of the pultrusion industry.
The confirmed educational program for the conference was announced, featuring sessions on pultrusion technology in existing markets like marine, automotive, aerospace, and infrastructure, as well as new applications and technology with Radius-Pultrusion and 3D printing. Early Bird registration rates expire on March 10, 2017. Learn more about the conference as well as registration details at For additional information, contact Christie McCabe at
