STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ACMA\u2019s standards development activities are initiated, managed, and maintained in coordination with ACMA initiatives such as the Composites Growth Initiative (CGI) Committees and standards advocacy projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACMA conducts its standards development activities by implementing due process, transparency, and consensus procedures. Participation and engagement of members are actively sought and represent various Interest Categories (i.e., Academia, Consultant, General Interest, Government, Manufacturer, Supplier, User, and Other) within the composites industry to achieve balanced representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The public review process encourages materially or directly interested parties to provide comments on consensus standards, specifications, technical data sheets, industry best practices, and other guidance being proposed, revised, reaffirmed, or withdrawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
