Responding to concerns that product and material selection decisions will increasingly be driven by consideration of climate impacts, ACMA is developing a program to provide composites manufacturers with the information and tools they will need to develop defensible science-based estimates of energy use and climate impacts associated with manufacture of their products and raw materials. Many OEMs such as automakers have announced that suppliers will need to provide estimates of cradle-to-gate climate impacts associated with the manufacture of components.
