Virtual Composites Technology Days Spark Collaboration & Break Attendance Records

On October 28-29, 2020, the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) held its first Virtual Composites Technology Day with Spirit AeroSystems, taking the program to new heights. Over 190 Spirit AeroSystems engineers and decision-makers explored composites parts on display in a virtual exhibit hall, participated in private technology presentations, and directly engaged with ACMA member companies. While previous in-person Composites Technology Days were successful, this year’s virtual Composites Technology Day at Spirit AeroSystems broke the attendance record for ACMA’s technical presentations.

Composites Technology Days Connect ACMA Members with OEMs

ACMA’s Composites Technology Day program positions our members to directly engage with some of the world’s largest companies, including their key frontline staff, to share and offer solutions to their business and engineering challenges, company needs, and design and technical requirements. For members who have previously been involved with Composites Technology Day events, the opportunity to collaborate with various engineers and key staff provided a worthwhile experience.

Our event platform is based on the latest virtual event technology, Pathable, that offers dynamic ways to engage with attendees during AND after the event on a dynamic virtual platform – allowing you to contact product designers, technicians, engineers, and more from leading OEMs directly.

Join Upcoming Composites Technology Days

ACMA is opening the door to create opportunities for our members through more virtual events in the future. The Composites Technology Days offer a chance to network, collaborate, and increase visibility for your business all at once. If you have yet to attend a Composites Technology Day, you won’t want to miss the chance to participate. For more information, please contact the CGI team at cgi@acmanet.org.

What ACMA Members Say About Composites Technology Days

“Spirit AeroSystems Tech Day was a useful platform to talk to over 60 people through multiple departments. The presentation provoked deeper follow-up discussions that could all be managed through an intuitive online portal. Looking forward to the next one!” said Riley Reese, CTO & Cofounder of Arris Composites.

“ACMA’s Tech Days create a unique opportunity for my company, where we would not be able to reach this number of engineers and specifiers with direct sales calls or a general exhibition. This is even more critical given the current pandemic where most in-person visits are not allowed,” added Russ Elkin from 3A Composites.

About ACMA Virtual Composites Technology Days Spark Collaboration & Break Attendance Records On October 28-29, 2020, the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) …
