ACMA Reaccredited by ANSI as an American National Standards Developer
ACMA was reaccredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) on December 27, 2024, upon approval of ACMA’s recently updated Standards Development Procedures for American National Standards (ANS). These revised procedures follow an ANSI audit, conducted every five years, and replace the version approved on June 29, 2017.
Reaccreditation by ANSI confirms that an organization’s voluntary consensus standards development processes adhere to ANSI’s requirements for transparency and due process. ACMA has played a key role in the support, development, and maintenance of composites-related consensus standards for over 25 years and is one of more than 200 ANSI-accredited Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs).
