Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll in the program?

Enrolling in a CCT certification program is simple. Start by visiting the enrollment page here.

You’ll be prompted to log in to your ACMA account before selecting your certification program and completing your enrollment. Each enrollment includes access to the required study materials and the certification exam.

If you need help accessing your account, you can reset your password here.

How do I access my study resources and exam?

Once you are enrolled, your study materials and certification exam are available through the ACMA Education Hub.

Log in here to access your resources.

How long do I have to take my certification exam?

Candidates have one (1) year from the date of enrollment to take the exam. If the exam is not completed within that time, a new enrollment and payment are required.

What study materials are included, and what should I focus on?

Each CCT certification includes two core areas of study: foundational composites knowledge and program-specific content.

The foundational material is based on ACMA’s Basic Composites content, which is tested across all certification programs. In addition, each certification includes study materials specific to that process or specialty.

To best prepare for the exam, candidates should review both the foundational and program-specific materials. For a detailed breakdown of exam topics and weightings, refer to the Body of Knowledge for your selected certification.

When will I receive my study materials?

Upon enrollment, you will receive immediate access to your digital study materials through the ACMA Education Hub.

For certification programs that include physical materials, orders are typically processed within 5–7 business days, and tracking information will be provided via email once shipped.

I am a current candidate and I am ready to take my exam, now what?

When you are ready to take your exam, you or your proctor should email cct@acmanet.org to request your exam code. Please include your proctor on the email so ACMA can provide instructions for administering the exam.

ACMA requires at least two (2) weeks’ notice prior to your desired test date. Once your request is received, ACMA will send your proctor the exam code and instructions for administering the exam through the ACMA Education Hub.

Can I take the exam online?

Yes. All CCT exams and recertification exams are completed on the ACMA Education Hub. Exams are graded upon completion, with results available immediately on screen.

Can I take the CCT exam without first enrolling in the full course?

Yes. Candidates with relevant experience may choose to enroll in the certification exam only, without purchasing the full training materials.

Exam-only enrollment is available for $250 per test. To request this option, please email candidate and proctor information to cct@acmanet.org.

Who can be a CCT Exam Proctor?

A CCT Instructor is preferred as a proctor, but not required. In most cases, a supervisor, manager, HR or training professional, or testing center staff member may serve as a proctor.

The proctor should be someone who can ensure the exam is completed in a professional and supervised environment.

I completed and passed my exam; when will I receive my certificate?

Immediately after completing your exam, your results will be provided on screen. If you pass, you will receive an email with a link to download your certificate.

Your certificate is also available at any time within your ACMA Education Hub account.

I failed the exam; can I take it again?

Yes. Candidates may retake the exam within their one-year enrollment period. To request a retake, please contact cct@acmanet.org. A $100 re-examination fee will apply.

As a candidate or proctor, can I report test questions or administration was not done fairly or properly?

Yes. Concerns or formal complaints may be submitted by email to cct@acmanet.org. Please include your name, contact information, candidate details, exam type, and test date, along with a description of the issue.

All submissions will be reviewed, and appropriate follow-up action will be taken, including review by ACMA staff and the Certification and Education Committee as needed.

I work for a company that enrolled a candidate who has since left employment. Can I transfer the enrollment to another employee?

Yes. Enrollment transfers are permitted for a $100 fee. To request a transfer, please provide the name of the original candidate and the full name, email, address, and title of the new candidate.

If the original enrollment included physical study materials, new materials will not be issued. It is the responsibility of the employer to transfer any materials already received.

Can I purchase material without registering for an exam?

Yes. Study materials may be purchased separately through the ACMA Storefront.

Pricing varies based on the materials selected and membership status.

I purchased an exam and received my materials, but I no longer need to take the exam. Can I get a refund?

No. Refunds are not provided for CCT enrollments.

However, enrollment transfers are permitted for a $100 change fee. Please refer to the transfer policy above or contact cct@acmanet.org for assistance.

Where can I access the CCT logo and usage guidelines?

The CCT logo and official Logo Usage Guidelines are available here.

Only active CCT holders and approved organizations may use the logo in accordance with these guidelines. For questions regarding logo usage, please contact cct@acmanet.org.
