What is CIRCLE?

CIRCLE firmly positions composites in the economy-wide effort to reduce the emission of climate warming gases, and will increase demand for composite products in construction, infrastructure, transportation and other key markets.

This composites industry program is aimed at helping composites manufacturers reduce their climate impacts and to educate their customers about the climate benefits of using composite products.

WHAT DOES CIRCLE DO?

CIRCLE will increase climate literacy within the composites community and provide the data and reports needed by the end-users of composite products.

Assess Cradle-to-Gate Impacts
Help composites manufacturers assess the emission of climate warming gases associated with the production of their products including the production of raw materials starting with recovery of resources from nature, intermediate processing and transportation.
  • Education on cradle-to-gate lifecycle assessment

  • Developing PCRs for composite products
  • LCA+EPD Generator – ACMA’s tool that reliably and cost-effectively assesses cradle-to-gate climate impacts associated with composite products and prepares the reports needed by the end-users of these products
