ACMA’s Transportation Structures Council (TSC) to Lead New Standards Project
The CGI Steering Committee approved a new project to update the American Association of State Highway & Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Guide Specification for the Design of FRP Pedestrian Bridges.
The project will be led by the ACMA’s Transportation Structures Council and specifically manufacturers of pedestrian bridges. This document was originally published by in 2008 and was authored by the members of the TSC. The project is planned to be completed in 2023 and presented to AASHTO State Bridge engineers at their annual meeting in 2024.
