Future Regulation of Composites Manufacturing at ACMA Fly-In
Lynn Bergeson, managing partner at the law firm Bergeson and Campbell and counsel to ACMA on EPA’s TSCA rule-making, will present on TSCA and Styrene for Business Owners as part of ACMA’s February 14-15 Fly-In. Styrene is expected to be a priority for EPA rule-making under the Toxic Substances Control Act and the composites industry will be a focus of the agency’s TSCA risk assessment and setting of risk management standards. Ms. Bergeson will describe the likely timing of EPA’s styrene rule-making, the possible regulatory requirements for composites manufacturers, and options for industry advocacy to prevent unwarranted regulatory burdens.
