ACMA Continues to Show Support for the IMAGINE Act

Last week, ACMA participated in a round table discussion about the Innovative Materials for America’s Growth and Infrastructure Newly Expanded (IMAGINE) Act. The roundtable discussion was led by the Composites Alliance of Rhode Island and featured discussions by Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), Peter Alviti, Director of the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, and representatives from the University of Rhode Island, and Goetz Composites.

The new bill is designed to promote the increased use of innovative materials like fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, as well as new manufacturing methods to accelerate the deployment and extend the life of infrastructure projects.
