Department of Energy Announces Wind Turbine Recycling Initiative
The Wind Energy Technologies Office announced a $20 million investment to “develop technology enhance the recyclability of wind turbine technology.” The program will focus on three topic areas: Enabling Sustainable Wind Turbine components, enabling recycling and reuse processes, and recycled and recyclable material qualification.
