U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones for Tariff Mitigation: From Theory to Practice

September 25 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZs) offer manufacturers and distributors an opportunity to mitigate tariffs, including in some cases the new Trump Administration “reciprocal tariffs.” U.S. FTZs are regulated by the federal government and require an application and ongoing compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Learn about what U.S. FTZs can and can’t do, how to establish one, and get your questions answered from one of the leading voices on this program. Melissa Irmen, the Director of Advocacy and Strategic Relations with the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones will provide her insights and advice to ACMA members interested in applying for or using a U.S. FTZ. With more than two decades of experience in the U.S. FTZ industry, Ms. Irmen is a recognized leader on this program. All ACMA members are encouraged to have their sourcing or compliance team attend this webinar.
