ACMA staff successfully hosted Construction & Infrastructure and High Performance Forum meetings each having over 30 attendees. These forums gave the opportunity to hear from guest speakers such as Don Kinard from Lockheed Martin, have discussions on ACMA’s future initiatives and planned events in 2023 such as Composites Technology Days, learn about key legislative updates, important standards that have impacted certain markets, and more importantly, interact with others.
Additionally, the Automotive Composites Alliance, Architectural Division, and Pultrusion Industry Council had the opportunity to collaborate in person. The Automotive Composites Alliance members received an exclusive presentation from S&P Global Mobility on automotive market trends. The Architectural Division members collaborated on future initiatives such as an Architectural Workshop at CAMX 2023 and the presentation of Landmark Global FRP Composites in Architecture. The Pultrusion Industry Council members largely focused on plans for the North American Pultrusion Conference 2023 with a focus on what would be beneficial as technical program content when looking at markets, applications, and processing technology advancements that support the theme of the conference.
