“Factory of the Future” Conference – May 2021:

The demand for composite materials has grown exponentially over the past decade, and the trend is expected to continue in the decades to come. In order to meet the expected demand, composites manufacturers will need to be innovative, adapt to new technology, and implement new processes and systems to be competitive and grow their business and the composites market as a whole. Recent trends in composites demonstrate the need for advanced manufacturing technology for automation, inspection, and digital thread development across a variety of markets including automotive, trucking, wind, industrial, and aerospace. In response to these evolving customer requirements, ACMA in partnership with the National Institute of Aviation Research (NIAR) and Spirit AeroSystems, will host a conference dedicated to the case studies and technology that are making the “Factory of the Future” a reality. During this two-day specialty conference, attendees will hear from expert keynote speakers in government, federal agencies and laboratories, automotive, aerospace, and wind markets. This event is targeted for May 2021 in Wichita, and will include education sessions, panel discussion, networking events, and a tour of a new composites automation facility at NIAR. ACMA members will have the first opportunity to present at this conference, which we fully expect to sell out. For more information, please contact our Composites Growth Initiative team.
